FMI helped Novartis and the University of Basel become top industry-academia research partners according to Nature

The University of Basel (UB) and the global headquarters of Novartis are very close to each other, just one kilometer apart on the banks of the Rhine. The key to their partnership, however, lies across the river at the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research (FMI), which is an independent institution with long-standing connections to both the university and the pharmaceutical giant.
